39:17 | No one can say, "What is this?" "Why is that?" for in God's time all things will be sought after. At his word the waters stood in a heap, and the reservoirs of water at the word of his mouth. | 39:17 | At his word the waters become still as in a flask; he had but to speak and the reservoirs were made. | 39:17 | And none may say, What is this? wherefore is that? for at time convenient they shall all be sought out: at his commandment the waters stood as an heap, and at the words of his mouth the receptacles of waters. | 39:17 | By a voice he saith: Hear me, 1ye divine offspring, and bud forth as the rose planted by the brooks of waters. | 39:17 | in voce dicit obaudite me divini fructus et quasi rosa plantata super rivum aquarum fructificate | 39:17 | Obaudite me, filii pii, et quasi rosa plantata super rivos aquarum florebit caro vestra; |
39:18 | At his command whatever pleases him is done, and none can limit his saving power. | 39:18 | He has but to command and his will is done; nothing can limit his achievement. | 39:18 | At his commandment is done whatsoever pleaseth him; and none can hinder, when he will save. | 39:18 | Give ye a sweet odour as frankincense. | 39:18 | quasi libanus odorem suavitatis habete | 39:18 | quasi libanus odorem suavitatis habete, |
39:19 | The works of all flesh are before him, and nothing can be hid from his eyes. | 39:19 | The works of all mankind are present to him; not a thing escapes his eye. | 39:19 | The works of all flesh are before him, and nothing can be hid from his eyes. | 39:19 | Send forth flowers, as the lily, and yield a smell, and bring forth leaves in grace, and praise with canticles, and bless the Lord in his works. | 39:19 | florete flores quasi lilium date odorem et frondete in gratiam et conlaudate canticum et benedicite Dominum in operibus suis | 39:19 | florete flores quasi lilium. Date vocem et collaudate canticum et benedicite Dominum in omnibus operibus suis. |
